U.S. Representative Andy Ogles, who serves Tennessee’s 5th district, posted a series of messages on his social media account between July 21 and July 22, 2025, addressing topics ranging from business migration to political activism in higher education.

On July 21, Ogles commented on economic trends affecting California and Tennessee, stating: “Thanks to Democrat policies, California sees more Out than In. Proud to welcome yet another great American company to the Volunteer State.”

Later that day, he announced an upcoming public engagement event for constituents: ” TELE-TOWN HALL ALERT Wednesday (7/22) @ 6:00 PM CT I’m hosting a telephone town hall to answer your questions and give you the latest on everything I’m doing to put Tennessee First.”

On July 22, Ogles turned his attention to diversity initiatives at Belmont University with the following statement: ” PATRIOT ALERT I’ll be going LIVE with @AlexisWilkins—a proud Tennessee patriot and Belmont alum—to expose the truth behind the Belmont DEI coverup. We’re turning up the pressure on the university to follow federal law and dismantle every last piece of DEI. Tennessee’s”

Andy Ogles has represented Tennessee’s 5th District in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Jim Cooper. He was born in Nashville in 1971 and currently resides in Columbia. Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
