Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district, has shared a series of tweets expressing his views on various topics. Born in Nashville in 1971 and residing in Columbia, Ogles has been an active political figure since replacing Jim Cooper in 2023.

On June 1, 2025, Ogles extended birthday wishes to what he described as “the greatest state in the nation.” The tweet can be viewed here.

Later that day, Ogles addressed a tragic event occurring in Colorado. He stated: “Praying for the victims and those impacted by the horrible terrorist attack in Colorado today. Antisemitism and violence have no place in America.”

The following day, on June 2, Ogles criticized Freddie O’Connell regarding immigration policies. He tweeted: “Four years ago, the Invalid-in-Chief let millions of cartel terrorists flood into our country. Now, Freddie O’Connell wants to keep them here. If he’s helping illegal aliens — who are all criminals under the law — O’Connell is committing treason.”

Andy Ogles graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science degree and later attended Western Kentucky University.
