Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district, shared a series of tweets on July 3, 2025, expressing his support for President Trump and various legislative efforts.

In a tweet posted at 17:38 UTC, Ogles credited President Trump with America’s continued global dominance after 249 years of independence. He urged the passage of what he called the “Big Beautiful Bill” to usher in a new era of prosperity. “Thanks to President Trump, 249 years later, America is still dominating.”

Later that day at 18:07 UTC, Ogles accused President Joe Biden of treason for allegedly allowing ten million immigrants into the United States. He indicated that Republicans are preparing to allocate resources to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to address this issue. “Joe Biden committed treason by importing 10 million invaders into America.”

At 18:37 UTC, Ogles announced a historic collaboration between President Trump and House Republicans on significant legislation. He described spending time at the White House with key political figures to gather support for the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which aims to implement substantial tax cuts and strengthen border security while eliminating taxes altogether. “President Trump and House Republicans just made history.”

Andy Ogles has been serving in Congress since replacing Jim Cooper in 2023. Born in Nashville in 1971, he resides in Columbia and holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
