Rep. Andy Ogles, U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, shared updates on law enforcement, congressional ethics, and local community events in a series of posts on August 1 and 2, 2025.
On August 1, Ogles praised the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers in Tennessee, writing: “TN is safer because of ICE Patriots. Good haul.” He later commented on stock trading by members of Congress with a reference to former Speaker Nancy Pelosi: “I’d love to subscribe to Nancy Pelosi’s investment newsletter—she seems to know the market a little too well. Too many in Congress are getting rich off stock trades, and we all know why.”
The following day, Ogles highlighted his participation at a local civic event: “Great to join community leaders at the Spring Hill State of the City event, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. From infrastructure to parks, Spring Hill is flourishing.”
Andy Ogles was born in Nashville in 1971 and currently resides in Columbia. He holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University. He succeeded Jim Cooper as representative for Tennessee’s 5th district beginning in 2023.
