Rep. Andy Ogles, who represents Tennessee’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on July 31, 2025, covering topics ranging from immigration enforcement near Washington D.C. to local government initiatives in Thompson’s Station.
In a tweet published at 18:52 UTC, Ogles commented on a situation in Fairfax County, Virginia, stating: “FYI this mall is in Fairfax County, just 30 minutes from our Nation’s Capitol. Is Fairfax County working with ICE to deport these invaders?”
Later that evening at 19:15 UTC, he wrote: “Everyone needs to read this. Justice needs to come.”
Ogles also highlighted his attendance at a local government event in Tennessee with the following message at 19:50 UTC: “Honored to attend the inaugural Thompson’s Station Annual Address with Mayor Stover, Administrator Wood, and Superintendent Jason Golden.
Strong infrastructure, smart budgeting, and a clear vision for growth. Thompson’s Station is leading by example.”
Andy Ogles began serving as U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 5th District after succeeding Jim Cooper in 2023. Born in Nashville in 1971 and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
