Rep. Andy Ogles, who represents Tennessee’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on his social media account between July 31 and August 1, 2025, addressing economic policy and political accountability.
On July 31, Ogles questioned Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s actions regarding the U.S. economy: “We are living in the Golden Age of America—so why is Jerome Powell trying to sabotage it? MAGA will win. “
Later that evening, he commented on trade policy and tariffs: “We are making a killing off the tariffs. Countries are coming to the table—and the ones who aren’t have been warned. The Art of the Deal will prevail.”
The following day, Ogles called for legal action against several prominent political figures: “Obama. Clinton. Comey. Clapper. Brennan. Biden. These Deep State operatives need to be dragged before Congress—then ARRESTED. There’s more than enough evidence for indictments. They went after Trump for nothing. It’s time we go after them for everything.”
