Rep. Andy Ogles, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th District since 2023, shared his views on various topics through social media on June 18 and June 19, 2025. Ogles succeeded Jim Cooper in this congressional seat and has been active in political discourse.

On June 18, Ogles expressed gratitude to the President with the statement “A beautiful addition. Thank you, @POTUS!” This tweet suggests an appreciation for an unspecified action or event initiated by the President.

Later that day, Ogles addressed a controversial issue involving Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell. He reported that during a press interaction with journalist Karen Fox from Fox17, Mayor O’Connell declined to label his public disclosure of ICE and HSI agents’ names as “doxing.” Instead, according to Ogles, the mayor identified “masked” ICE agents arresting criminal illegal aliens” as the real problem.

The following day, on June 19, Ogles advocated for former President Donald Trump’s leadership in economic matters by suggesting he should oversee the Federal Reserve. He tweeted: “Let Trump run the Fed and purge the globalists for good. He rebuilt the economy after Democrats wrecked it—now let him slash the rates and finish the job.” This reflects his support for Trump’s economic policies and America First agenda.

Andy Ogles was born in Nashville in 1971 and currently resides in Columbia. He holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
