Rep. Andy Ogles, U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, made a series of posts on July 22, 2025, highlighting Republican-led efforts to reduce regulations and promote savings at the gas pump.

In his first post of the day, Ogles stated, “Republicans are delivering big, beautiful savings. We slashed the regulations that made your gas more expensive—now prices are plummeting. And we’re just getting started.” (July 22, 2025).

Later that afternoon, he posted a brief directive: “Begin the proceedings. https://t.co/zh0jHqtScq” (July 22, 2025).

In a subsequent tweet referencing an apparent event or broadcast titled “Restoring The Republic,” Ogles wrote: “Restoring The Republic 40: BUSTING BELMONT https://t.co/1YdshEO5Tq” (July 22, 2025).

Ogles has served as the congressional representative for Tennessee’s 5th District since succeeding Jim Cooper in 2023. Born in Nashville in 1971 and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
