Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district, has been active on social media sharing his views and legislative ideas. Ogles replaced Jim Cooper in 2023 and continues to engage with his constituents through various platforms.

On June 16, 2025, Rep. Ogles outlined how he believes Congress could remain productive for the rest of the year. He suggested that Congress should “Codify a Trump executive order every legislative day,” pass a new rescission package weekly, and impeach an activist judge monthly. He invited further suggestions from the public in his post.

Later that day, Ogles commemorated what he referred to as “Golden Escalator Day.” In a tweet dated June 16, 2025, he remarked on its significance by stating: “Ten years ago, one of America’s greatest heroes began his quest to save the Republic.”

On June 17, 2025, Rep. Ogles shared an update regarding an investigation involving Nashville’s Mayor’s Office. His team is working alongside the House Judiciary and Homeland Security Committees after receiving documents related to what he described as Mayor O’Connell’s potential obstruction campaign against ICE patriots. As noted in his post: “We are currently reviewing the” information provided.

Andy Ogles was born in Nashville in 1971 and currently resides in Columbia, Tennessee. He holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
