Later that day, he commented on local fuel prices and attributed recent changes to former President Donald Trump: “Gas prices are dropping thanks to President Trump. This is in Old Hickory.” (August 12, 2025).

Andy Ogles has served as the representative for Tennessee’s 5th District since succeeding Jim Cooper in 2023. Born in Nashville in 1971 and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
