Rep. Andy Ogles, who represents Tennessee’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on July 29, 2025, addressing political topics and recent events involving fellow lawmakers and policy debates.

In his first post of the day, Ogles commented on Democratic Party alliances by stating, “This is the guy Democrats are embracing as their own.” (July 29, 2025).

Later that evening, he highlighted a local event in Columbia, Tennessee: “Maury is MAGA Country. Had a great night in Columbia introducing the legendary Congressman Tim Burchett to some of my favorite folks in Middle Tennessee.” (July 29, 2025).

Addressing immigration policy and law enforcement in Washington D.C., Ogles wrote: “The D.C. City Council is doing everything it can to protect illegal aliens. Meanwhile, @USAttyPirro is handing them over to ICE patriots. It’s clear who cares about our nation’s capital—and who doesn’t.” (July 29, 2025).

Andy Ogles has served as a member of Congress for Tennessee’s 5th District since replacing Jim Cooper in 2023. Born in Nashville in 1971 and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
