Rep. Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district, posted a series of statements on his Twitter account between July 29 and July 30, 2025.

On July 29, Ogles responded to an unspecified tweet with “Agreed!!! “. Later that day, he commented on another post by stating, “‘That’s surprising’ said no one!”.

The following day, on July 30, Ogles made a direct accusation in a tweet: “Obama is a traitor.”

Andy Ogles has served as the representative for Tennessee’s 5th District since 2023, succeeding Jim Cooper. He was born in Nashville in 1971 and currently resides in Columbia. Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
