Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district, recently addressed several contentious topics through social media. His series of posts on April 23 and 24, 2025, cover a broad spectrum of issues, ranging from concerns about policies in liberal states to immigration and judiciary actions.

On April 23, Ogles raised concerns regarding policies in “liberal states,” questioning “Why are liberal states endangering our daughters—forcing them into locker rooms with biological men?” He called for “accountability” on this issue, highlighting the need for change.

Following that, on April 24, he discussed a complex immigration issue involving an MS-13 member discovered in Tennessee. He questioned the situation with “An MS-13 illegal alien named Kilmar Abrego Garcia was caught in Tennessee, behind the wheel of a vehicle owned by a convicted human trafficker.” His statement further detailed that Garcia was transporting other undocumented immigrants on an expired Maryland license.

Later on the same day, Ogles expressed his stance on judicial accountability. He mentioned the existence of numerous impeachment articles and emphasized the need for certain judges to be reminded of their accountability to the public, stating, “There are plenty of impeachment articles ready to be passed. These judges need to be removed and reminded that they work for the American People.”

Andy Ogles, serving Tennessee’s 5th district since succeeding Jim Cooper in 2023, continues to voice his opinions on national matters. Ogles, 51, is a Nashville native currently residing in Columbia and holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
