Rep. Andy Ogles, a member of the United States House of Representatives, has expressed his views on recent events within Congress through a series of tweets. The tweets address issues of decorum and accountability in government proceedings.

On March 6, 2025, Rep. Ogles stated that “There must be accountability. The American people deserve better than petty, juvenile stunts in one of the most sacred chambers of government.” This tweet underscores his call for maintaining standards in congressional conduct.

In another post from the same date, he commented on former President Trump’s speech to Congress and subsequent actions taken by the House. He remarked that “On Tuesday, President Trump delivered one of the greatest speeches in American history during his Address to Congress.” Additionally, he noted that “Today, the House passed a motion to censure Rep. Al Green, who violated basic House decorum and decency when he disrupted @POTUS during his address.”

Furthermore, Rep. Ogles highlighted an incident involving members of the Democratic Party during the censure process. On March 6, 2025, he tweeted: “Today, a group of House Democrats broke decorum during the censure of Rep. Al Green and, after multiple warnings, refused to heed @SpeakerJohnson’s order.” He added that he is preparing resolutions aimed at removing these individuals from their committee assignments due to their behavior.
