Representative Andy Ogles, who has served Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District since 2023, recently expressed his political views through a series of tweets. Ogles succeeded Jim Cooper and lives in Columbia, Tennessee. His statements focused on contrasting the leadership of former President Donald Trump with the administration of President Joe Biden, suggesting a continuation of Trump’s policies and critiquing the Democratic strategies as detrimental.

On March 28, 2025, Ogles stated, “President Trump’s decisive leadership stands in stark contrast to the chaos, suffering, and economic decline Americans endured under Biden.”

In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Ogles suggested the potential for Donald Trump to extend his presidency. He tweeted, “President Trump should be allowed, if he chooses, to seek a third term to categorically undue the decay progressives have wrought on our great country.”

Ogles also criticized the longstanding political tactics of the Democratic Party, tweeting, “These nefarious strategies by Democrats have been taking place for decades.”
