Rep. Andy Ogles, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, recently shared a series of strongly opined tweets. Ogles has been vocal about issues ranging from international relations to domestic policies. In a post on April 14, 2025, Ogles expressed concerns regarding China, stating that it is “not just an economic competitor—it is a clear and present threat to American security, sovereignty, and the future of the West.” He emphasized the urgency of addressing these issues:

“It’s time to wake up. The cost? Millions of lives and trillions in economic damage.”

Later the same day, Ogles voiced his approval of an unspecified action against anti-American rhetoric. Without elaborating, he posted,

“I fully support this. No more anti-American propaganda infesting the airways.”

On April 15, 2025, he turned his attention to immigration policy, advocating for strong measures against illegal immigration. He commented,

“America is not a daycare. You come to our country illegally, we kick your butt out.”

Andy Ogles is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Tennessee’s 5th district. He replaced previous U.S Congress member Jim Cooper in 2023.
