Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, recently expressed his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. On May 21, 2025, Rep. Ogles criticized sanctuary policies by stating that “Sanctuary policies HELP criminals and let these monsters keep preying on our communities.” He accused Mayor O’Connell and Tennessee Democrats of attempting to introduce such policies into Tennessee, claiming they contribute to what he described as an “invasion,” which he believes requires immediate investigation.
