Rep. Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, recently shared his views on social media through a series of tweets. Born in Nashville and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles has been an active voice in Congress after succeeding Jim Cooper.

On July 7, 2025, Rep. Ogles expressed support for immigration enforcement agencies by urging followers to “Pray for Border Patrol and ICE patriots.”

Later that day, he commended former President Trump’s efforts regarding employment, stating “President Trump is keeping his promise to restore jobs to hardworking AMERICANS.”

In another tweet from the same day, Rep. Ogles criticized Democratic actions and figures. He claimed that Democrats are endorsing Zohran Mamdani as their new prominent figure while also accusing them of targeting him with resolutions due to his controversial statements about Muhammad’s ideology. He tweeted: “It’s official: Democrats have crowned Zohran Mamdani as their new rising star…all because I dared to call out little muhammad’s anti-Western, antisemitic, jihad-communism.”

Andy Ogles holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.
