Rep. Ogles hosted a service academy ceremony to recognize local students in Tennessee’s Fifth District. During the event, he expressed confidence in the abilities and dedication of the students chosen to represent the area at the nation’s service academies.
“There is a wealth of young men and women with character and a calling to service in Tennessee’s Fifth District. I am confident that the students my team and I have selected to hopefully represent Middle Tennessee at our Nation’s Service Academies will lead with excellence, tenacity, and an undying loyalty to our great Nation. It was a pleasure to honor them,” stated Congressman Ogles.
The Congressman nominated a total of 36 high school students from the district. Among these nominations, 10 students received endorsements for the U.S. Air Force Academies, 12 for the U.S. Naval Academy, and 14 for the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
