The University of Tennessee Southern Golf Head Coach John Dochety is pleased to announce the upcoming 2022 fall season schedule. This season, the schedule will be very challenging as it includes six tournaments including the Mid-South Conference Fall Preview.
The Firehawks will open their season on Monday, September 26th as they travel to Johnson City, Tenn. to take part in the East Tennessee Collegiate tournament. The following week, UTS will try to smash some records in the Music City Invitational held in Goodlettsville, Tenn. For the third week in a row, the Firehawks will compete traveling to Memphis, Tenn. to participate in the Memphis Invitational.
A new tournament on the schedule this year finds the Firehawks traveling to Sheboygan, Wis. To play in the Whistling Straits Championship. This event is being held at the iconic Whistling Straights Golf Course which has held numerous PGA events over the years.
The fall schedule will conclude with a pair of tournaments in November. UTS will begin MSC play by competing in the Mid-South Fall Preview on November 1st. UTS will close out the fall by hosting the 2nd annual Firehawk Invitational at Canebrake Club in Athens, Ala. on the 8th.
