The University of Tennessee Southern men's basketball team won their second in a row with a 74-69 win over Thomas on Friday.
Two Firehawks contributed double figures in the game. Adarion Hudson led the offensive attack with 24 points. Kavion Hancock dropped 17 in 26 minutes of action.
The Firehawks outscored the Nighthawks 28-26 in the opening stanza. TU connected on five triples in the half, but UTS would outshoot the home squad 37%-28%.
The Firehawks would enjoy their largest lead of eight early in the second half. There would be four ties and three lead changes.
