Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district, shared a series of tweets expressing his political views and encouraging participation in a coding challenge. The congressman replaced Jim Cooper in 2023 and has been vocal about election security and immigration issues.

On September 18, 2024, Rep. Ogles expressed his stance on government funding tied to election security by stating "I’m with President Trump. No election security means no government funding."

The following day, on September 19, he accused the Biden-Harris Administration of manipulating voter demographics for political gain. He tweeted: "Make no mistake: the Biden-Harris Administration has intentionally flooded our country with millions of illegal voters to jeopardize our elections and secure the Democrats’ radical agenda."

Also on September 19, Rep. Ogles encouraged young coders from his district to participate in a national competition by tweeting: "Today, in recognition of #NationalAppChallengeDay, I encourage all young coders in TN-05 to show off their skills by submitting apps for the Congressional App Challenge by October 24th."
