Rep. Andy Ogles, representing Tennessee’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, shared his perspectives on various issues through a series of tweets on September 18, 2024. Ogles, who took office in 2023 after replacing Jim Cooper, addressed topics ranging from leadership changes to fiscal policies and border concerns.

In a tweet posted at 13:22 UTC on September 18, Rep. Andy Ogles expressed support for Rep. Andy Harris's new leadership role within the House Freedom Caucus (HFC). He stated that Harris "will lead with strength and dedication to the vision of HFC: to bring common sense back to Washington and cut wasteful government spending." Ogles conveyed his enthusiasm about working alongside the new chairman here.

Later that day, at 15:03 UTC, Ogles criticized the Biden-Harris administration regarding border management expenses. He tweeted about what he termed as "The Biden-Harris border crisis," which he claimed is costing American taxpayers $150.7 billion while veterans and service members are being neglected. He further stated that it is "unacceptable for illegal alien squatters to have better housing available than our citizens" here.

Another post was made by Ogles at 18:24 UTC; however, this tweet only contained a link without additional commentary here.
