Rep. Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 5th district since 2023, has made several statements on social media addressing national security and political issues. Ogles, who succeeded Jim Cooper, was born in Nashville in 1971 and resides in Columbia. He holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.

On September 19, 2024, Rep. Ogles expressed his views on visa policies concerning members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). He stated that "The United States should not be granting VISAs to members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (i.e., terrorists)."

Later that day, he criticized Vice President Kamala Harris regarding border security measures. In his tweet at 15:21 UTC, he alleged that "Kamala Harris directed her border patrol chief to COVER UP information on terrorists crossing the Southern Border. Blatant treason."

Additionally, Rep. Ogles announced an episode of his podcast titled "Restoring The Republic." On September 19 at 16:05 UTC, he invited followers to discuss recent legislative developments by tweeting "Restoring The Republic Episode 17: Let's Discuss Last Night's Vote."
