Rep. Andy Ogles of Tennessee has expressed his readiness to support Attorney General Pam Bondi in making Epstein-related documents public. In a letter dated February 26, which was first reported by Breitbart News, Ogles previewed legislation he is drafting called the "Preventing Epstein Documentation Obliteration Act" or PEDO Act.
In his letter, Ogles congratulated Bondi on her confirmation as attorney general and expressed encouragement by her commitment to releasing "documentation related to Jeffrey Epstein."
Ogles also offered his full support to Bondi's office, stating that he is prepared to help if there are any statutory barriers. "Should you encounter any statutory barriers to the expeditious public release of Jeffrey Epstein’s client list or other pertinent information related to his activities – to include circumstances in which any such documentation is housed in other federal agencies – I stand ready to assist," he wrote.
Ogles mentioned that he is taking proactive steps by drafting the PEDO Act after hearing reports about certain FBI agents allegedly attempting to destroy critical records. He emphasized the need for "radical transparency in matters implicating the integrity of our justice system."
