Rep. Andy Ogles, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 5th district, has been vocal on social media about his stance on judicial matters and political issues. Ogles, who succeeded Jim Cooper in 2023, often uses his platform to express strong opinions on various topics.
On March 18, 2025, Rep. Ogles tweeted a message directed at the Chief Justice, referencing historical figures and documents to support his argument. He stated: "Respectfully, Mr. Chief Justice, both James Madison and Thomas Jefferson disagree with you. So does the Constitution. We are going to keep the impeachments coming."
The following day, March 19, 2025, Ogles posted another tweet criticizing a judge appointed by former President Obama. He accused the judge of promoting critical race theory and being involved in controversial funding activities through USAID. Ogles concluded with a call for impeachment: "An Obama appointee and lifelong Democrat who blocked Trump’s travel ban in 2017... Impeach him!"
Later that same day, Rep. Ogles announced an upcoming appearance with Shawn Farash to discuss what he describes as "swatting," a tactic allegedly used by political opponents to silence conservatives through intimidation: "Restoring the Republic: The Left’s New Weapon: Swatting... They will not intimidate us."
