On Sunday, April 6, former Forrest High School standout Laura Mealer’s current college team, the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
The game took place at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Lady Volunteers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 8 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field against Texas Longhorns.
