On Sunday, March 16, former Forrest High School standout Laura Mealer’s current college team, the Tennessee Lady Volunteers, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the UConn Huskies.
The game took place at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.
The Lady Volunteers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium against Eastern Kentucky Colonels.
