Rep. Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 5th district since 2023, has recently made several statements via social media addressing international and domestic issues. His comments reflect his stance on foreign policy and legislative actions.

On September 25, 2024, Rep. Ogles addressed the issue of fentanyl trafficking from China, stating that "China is flooding our neighborhoods with deadly fentanyl, destroying American lives. The House just passed my amendment to place sanctions on CCP officials responsible. This is the bare minimum we should be doing to protect Americans and stand with our allies!"

Later that day, he shared his voting decision regarding a continuing resolution (CR), expressing opposition by stating "Restoring The Republic Episode 18: I Voted NO on Tonight's CR."

On September 26, 2024, Rep. Ogles commended El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele for his approach to crime control in contrast to what he perceives as leniency from Democrats in the United States. He remarked, "As a proud member of the El Salvador Caucus, I applaud @nayibbukele for taking real action to punish criminals instead of caving to lawlessness like the Democrats." He further added support for El Salvador's efforts by saying "God bless El Salvador for defending its people and protecting their freedom!"
