Rep. Andy Ogles, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district, shared several updates and announcements via social media on February 10, 2025. Ogles has been active in his role since replacing former U.S. Congress member Jim Cooper in 2023.
On February 10, Rep. Ogles invited constituents to participate in his first telephone town hall of the new Congress. He stated, " Tomorrow Night–– Dial into my FIRST Telephone Town hall of the new Congress. I will be answering your questions and updating you on everything I am doing to deliver on President Trump's agenda."
Later that day, he announced a community outreach initiative through mobile office hours at the Nashville Public Library in Antioch. He informed residents that "My office is hosting mobile office hours at the Nashville Public Library in Antioch. If you need assistance with a passport application, Social Security, VA/military benefits, or any other federal program, please join us!"
In another post on February 10, Rep. Ogles criticized the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), describing it as an unnecessary expenditure of taxpayer money. He expressed his views by stating " WATCH: There was never a time when the CFPB was a good use of taxpayer money. It is a woke, wasteful, and duplicative institution. And America doesn't need it."
