Rep. Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, recently shared several tweets addressing issues of public concern and personal interests. Ogles, who succeeded Jim Cooper, has been active on social media, discussing topics ranging from immigration to free speech.

On February 18, 2025, Rep. Ogles tweeted about gang-affiliated illegal aliens in Middle Tennessee: "Gang-affiliated illegal aliens are on the loose in Middle Tennessee." He urged citizens to report such individuals by calling a designated hotline.

Later that day, at 21:39 UTC, he posted another tweet with a simple message accompanied by an emoji: " Headphones ON". The tweet was accompanied by a link but provided no further context or explanation.

The following day, February 19, 2025, Rep. Ogles expressed his views on free speech and political opposition through another tweet: "Democrats despise free speech so much, they're trying to put Americans in jail for refusing to participate in individual delusion." This statement reflects his stance on perceived threats to freedom of expression.
