Andy Ogles, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, has been vocal on various political issues through his social media platform. Born in Nashville in 1971 and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles has an educational background from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Andy Ogles introduced the No CBDC Act. He stated that a central bank digital currency is "nothing more than a tool for tyrants to intimidate, control, and surveil the activities of American citizens." Emphasizing his role as a patriot, he declared it was his duty to prevent such measures. "I introduced the No CBDC Act because a central bank digital currency is nothing more than a tool for tyrants to intimidate, control, and surveil the activities of American citizens."

Later that day, Ogles commented on former President Donald Trump's actions compared to those of President Joe Biden. He expressed that Trump accomplished tasks swiftly which Biden had not addressed over four years. "It took President Trump mere days to do what Joe Biden simply wouldn't over four years."

On February 20, 2025, Ogles tweeted about confirming Kash Patel for certain responsibilities including firing corrupt officials and addressing issues like Chinese fentanyl and cartel leaders. He urged action against corruption and emphasized restoring transparency and ending the deep state.
