Rep. Andy Ogles, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 5th district since 2023, recently shared a series of updates via social media. Born in Nashville and currently residing in Columbia, Ogles graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and Western Kentucky University.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Ogles announced on Twitter that his office would be hosting mobile office hours at the Nashville Public Library in Hermitage. He invited constituents needing assistance with federal programs such as passport applications, Social Security, or VA/military benefits to join them. The full tweet can be accessed here.

Later that day, he expressed support for D.O.G.E., advocating for cutting government waste and stating it should have bipartisan backing. His message emphasized that reducing unnecessary government expenditure is beneficial. This statement was made available here.

In another brief post on the same day, Rep. Ogles simply shared applause emojis without additional context or commentary. The original post can be found here.
